Why labradorite never gets old
Labradorite does that thing where it looks grey until the light catches it — and then suddenly it's every colour at once. We never get tired of it.
The rough stone is unremarkable. Cut and polished into a cabochon, it becomes something a friend will stop you in the street to ask about. The effect is called labradorescence, and it can't be faked.
