A copper mineral in vivid blue-greens, often found growing alongside malachite, azurite and turquoise in copper deposits. Pure chrysocolla is soft and porous; stones hardened by natural silica are tougher and take a brighter polish.

Caring for Chrysocolla

A softer stone that rewards a little care. Put it on last, after perfume and hairspray, and take it off before washing, swimming or exercise. Wipe with a dry soft cloth only and store on its own in its pouch.
