These terms apply to every order placed at soraandstone.co.uk. Please read them before you buy — they include important information about your rights. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
1. About us
Sora & Stone, Unit 3, The Old Workshops, Pitt Lane, Bideford, EX39 3JA. Email: hello@soraandstone.co.uk.
2. Our pieces
Every piece is handmade in small batches using genuine semi-precious stones. Because the stones are natural, colour, pattern and size vary slightly from piece to piece and from our photographs. Limited-edition pieces are made in numbered runs; once a run sells out, it isn’t remade.
3. Placing an order
When you place an order, we’ll email to acknowledge it. Our contract with you begins when we email to confirm your order has been dispatched. We may decline an order — for example if a piece has sold out or was priced in error — and if we do, we’ll refund any payment in full.
4. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. Delivery charges are shown at checkout before you pay. Payment is taken when you place your order — by card, processed securely by Stripe, or by Klarna or Amazon Pay. We never see or store your full card details.
5. Delivery
UK delivery is by Royal Mail Tracked 48: free on orders of £60 or more (after any discount), otherwise £4.70. Faster delivery by Royal Mail Tracked 24 is available for £6.05. International orders are sent by Royal Mail International Tracked, and the cost is shown at checkout. We don’t currently deliver to the United States. Any import duties or taxes charged by the destination country are paid by the customer. We aim to dispatch within 2 working days. Your piece becomes yours, and your responsibility, once it has been delivered.
6. Cancellations and returns
You can cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Our Refunds & Returns page explains how.
7. Looking after your jewellery
To keep pieces at their best, keep them away from water, perfume and lotions, and store them separately to avoid scratches. Everyday wear and tear isn’t a fault.
8. Our responsibility to you
If we fail to keep to these terms, we’re responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that failure, but not for loss that wasn’t foreseeable. We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory rights as a consumer.
9. Our website
The photographs, text and designs on this site belong to Sora & Stone and may not be copied without our permission.
10. Your privacy
How we use your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.
11. Disputes and law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in the courts there. If something goes wrong, please email us first — most problems can be sorted quickly.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force when you place an order applies to that order.
